Algatek Showcased Microalgae-Based Carbon Capture Technology and Sustainable Solutions at IPA Convex 2026

Jakarta, May 2026 — We were proud to participate in IPA Convex 2026, held from 20–22 May 2026, as part of the Zekindo Group exhibition booth. As one of the largest gatherings for Indonesia’s oil and gas industry, the event brought together energy companies, technology providers, government representatives, and industry stakeholders to explore innovations that support a more sustainable energy future.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, we showcased our Indoor Photobioreactor (PBR) as a live demonstration of microalgae-based carbon capture technology for indoor environments. Visitors had the opportunity to experience how microalgae naturally capture carbon dioxide through photosynthesis while contributing to improved indoor air quality.

In addition to the live demonstration, we highlighted the successful implementation of our Outdoor Photobioreactor (PBR) in the oil and gas sector through a looping presentation displayed at the booth. The showcase featured real-world applications of our microalgae-based carbon capture technology in industrial environments, demonstrating its potential to support emission reduction initiatives while contributing to broader sustainability and decarbonization efforts.

IPA Convex 2026 provided us with a valuable platform to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange knowledge, and explore new collaboration opportunities. The positive response we received throughout the exhibition reinforced the growing interest in nature-based carbon capture technologies and encouraged us to continue developing innovative solutions that support Indonesia’s transition toward a more sustainable industrial future.

We sincerely thank everyone who visited the Zekindo Group booth during IPA Convex 2026. Every conversation, connection, and exchange of ideas throughout the event inspires us to continue advancing innovative carbon capture technologies and working together toward a greener, more resilient future.
